It is one of the oldest gay and lesbian congregations in North America. CTC exists to provide Jewish worship and fellowship in a progressive, non-sexist environment that affirms and celebrates diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CTC holds egalitarian services on the second Friday evening of most months. CTC also holds High Holy Days services, a Passover seder, and other holiday celebrations. Chavurah members actively participate in an annual, community-wide Gay Pride Shabbat, organize educational programs of interest to members, and host a members-only book club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CTC is a member of the World Congress of LGBTQIA+ Jews (Keshet Ga&#8217;avah).
